Happy, happy 40 TT(B)!

Hey Tracey,

Here's wishing you a wonderful 40th and best wishes in your newfound mature years! I'm not sure how many others think of you as "hard headed", but I'm glad you are, or I might have found myself in a courtroom being prosecuted by your dad many moons ago. Luckily you forgave my faux pas and have remained my friend and become a friend of my lovely Vera Vee.

To many more years to come of creating new, wonderful memories with you, Andrew, the Taylor-Babaian clan, and the Scholls!

Love,
Roger

Happy Birthday, Tracey!

Here's to all of your birthday wishes coming true.

May the next 40 years be full of double the love and happiness of the first.

Love,
Vera
Happy Birthday Angelina.....oops, we mean Tracey. Here's wishing you many more years of good fortune, good times, and good looks ... . All of our best. Love, Melissa and Scott
For some reason, I keep flashing back to your bedroom in Tallahassee. I have no idea how old you were - maybe 10. I was trying to get you and Steph to play “if you were a [“flower”, “animal”, “tree”, “color”]. I was trying to get you two to tap into your imaginations and creativity. It started out ok, but very quickly deteriorated into pure silliness. Your imaginations were running wild – just not in the way I had anticipated. Then your dad came in and stopped the craziness because you two were supposed to be sleeping – not jumping on the beds, laughing hysterically and shouting out silly answers.

Many years later, you still show that silly, goofy streak - and it's most endearing!

Happy 40th!

The Big 40

Tracy,

Happy Birthday!! We love you and miss you and hope you have a wonderful day. It's not uncommon to feel a bit low on this particular BD so look on the bright side, at least you can stop worrying about dying young.

We look forward to seeing you someday soon and meeting the twins.

All our love,

Joan and Jimbob

Godmother Extraordinaire

Riding Down the Embo....

The things we have shared....
Weddings, births, babies and cheap burritos;
Heartache, joy, broken cars, and broken hearts;
Sugar cookies at Christmas and salty bugles in Settiembre;
Bloody Marys in Florence, blood blisters in Cinque Terre, and bloody hell from the Super Mario Brothers;
Through the incredible highs and thankfully short-lived lows, you have remained the most inspirational, thoughtful, spot-on-my-emotions friend I've ever had and I am so lucky to have you in my life.  You are my child's Godmother and my Fairy Godmother.  If there was a picture in the dictionary next to "This Girl Rocks" it would be of you.
Love you all there is, sweet girl,
Liz

I love you Sister, welcome to 40!! xoxo

Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday Tracey! Some of my favorite memories of growing up are playing with you, Stephanie, and B in your pool.  Looking back, I'm fairly certain we were playing and you were tolerating us.  Thank you for always being so kind and fun.  It has been a long, long time since we have spent time together but I am 100% sure that you are every bit as beautiful inside and out now as you were then.  If ever there were a person that could prove that 40 is the new 20, it's you!   Make it true for all of us!  All of the best on your 40th birthday and every day.  Anne Marie, Mike, Jack (2.75) and Luke (8 mos)

ABC Girl

Where to begin? I owe so much to Tracey, notably her dance instruction that has kept me, and Kari, from being terribly embarrassed at every wedding or party. She has always been a dear friend and someone I can always count on. I love so much about her but especially her storytelling. She's the only person I know who illustrates her points with an ABC option... "Should we go to A) the beach, which has sand etc etc or B) the mountains, which I love and has trees and rivers or C) the city, which I'm ready to get out of so forget that!" See? I always know where I stand with T and what my options are (and they're usually F-U-N when she's involved). She's the best friend that way and we're all lucky to have her. Happy 40th you freak! Love, Ben

Ahhhh, TT.

Ever beautiful, ever giving, ever alive, ever goofy. If only we'd known that when Tracey descended on New York "for maybe a year, maybe two" she'd be find an equally goofy man, set up shop, and start to change the Village forever.

I'll never forget New Years Eve 2000 in Big Sky, Montana with Tracey's gin and tonics (no wonder I didn't feel during our midnight renegade sledding adventures), her whole family and family-of-friends in the house, and Neal Diamond crooning "America" live from Boulder, announcing the new year for the West.  Tracey was radiant (as always), cheffing it up in the kitchen, and making sure a house full of strangers (was that the entire Ski Lift crew that Clyde invited?) felt comfy ringing in the New Millennium together.

 Few girls wear 40 like she can, so don't rub it in:)  Fewer still are as loved and cherished, too.  Happy Birthday, TT! Here's to many more Birthdays, New Years', and laughs together!

xxoo
