Ever beautiful, ever giving, ever alive, ever goofy. If only we'd known that when Tracey descended on New York "for maybe a year, maybe two" she'd be find an equally goofy man, set up shop, and start to change the Village forever.
I'll never forget New Years Eve 2000 in Big Sky, Montana with Tracey's gin and tonics (no wonder I didn't feel during our midnight renegade sledding adventures), her whole family and family-of-friends in the house, and Neal Diamond crooning "America" live from Boulder, announcing the new year for the West. Tracey was radiant (as always), cheffing it up in the kitchen, and making sure a house full of strangers (was that the entire Ski Lift crew that Clyde invited?) felt comfy ringing in the New Millennium together.
Few girls wear 40 like she can, so don't rub it in:) Fewer still are as loved and cherished, too. Happy Birthday, TT! Here's to many more Birthdays, New Years', and laughs together!
